Volunteering

A volunteer must be at least 18 years of age. All persons who work directly with our wolves are screened before being introduced to the animals and they are allowed to work with the wolves only under supervision until they are qualified to be on their own, which takes many hours of training. Persons who are relaxed, self-confident, and willing to learn are more successful in becoming part of the pack as companions. People who are fearful or uneasy will not be allowed to work directly with the wolves. Those who have special physical or mental limitations and/or need medication to function should consult with the Director.

Additionally all volunteers must sign our liability waiver.  You can download a copy to sign here.
